Surviving the Working Time Directive

The working time directive is getting a lot of press lately, what with its implementation across the industry in April. We have spoken to a number of operators in the UK and you've all asked for pretty much the same thing - so we've built it.

It goes live on May 14th 2007 and makes it so easy for the operator to ensure that all employees are complying with the new rules.

As can be seen from the following screenshots. It shows what employees have actually worked in any given week and how many hour rest & break they have been provided. It shows if they are currently complying with the weekly limit or the extended weekly (56 hours) and extended fortnightly (90 hours) limits. It also shows how those employees are complying across a rolling 13 (1 quarter) week period and what the average across that quarter is.
